The composition of excavator undercarriage,

The crawler type excavator undercarriage is composed of “four wheels and one belt”,they are sprocket, idler,track roller,carrier roller,and track link,also tensioning device and buffer spring,final drive and the frame.

The working principle of excavator,

When the excavator is running,the sprocket produces a pulling force, in an attempt to pull the track out of the track roller,because there is enough space between the track under the track roller and the ground.Then it prevents the pull-out of the track, forcing the sprocket to roll the track,and the idler with the track on the ground, so that the excavator runs forward along the track track by the roller.

Hydraulically driven crawler final drives,when the excavator turns, it is installed on two crawler belts and supplied with oil by two hydraulic pumps respectively. The control of the road can easily realize the steering or turn on the spot, so as to adapt to the movement of the excavator on various grounds and fields.
